Online Counselling & Therapy for UK based and International clients
Our psychotherapists and counsellors have over 20 years of experience in the field of psychotherapy and the treatment of a wide range of mental health issues.
Therapy in an Online Setting
Our professionals were among the first in the United Kingdom to embrace online technology, providing regularly scheduled psychotherapist and counsellor services to clients via the use of Skype, in a confidential, customised and private setting.
Our history and expertise working with audio and video platforms and the reliability of modern Internet connectivity means we can now offer these online services to clients within the Mayfair area who might traditionally have visited our offices, or to those from outside London and across the UK with a range of practical requirements:
- those who have difficulty in travelling to our office
- those who are frequently travelling for business
- clients who are more comfortable and relaxed conducting sessions from their own home.
Many of our clients are busy professionals who simply do not have the time to come into our offices; with online counselling using Skype or other applications we can provide responsive and effective support and assistance, helping to foster positive life changes and improve mental health.
And in difficult times, including recent changes in social contact rules during the COVID-19 pandemic, online psychotherapy allows our clients to remain in the safety of their own home, without having to suspend or end their treatment.
A Commitment to Our Clients
While the use of online counselling and psychotherapy eliminates the need for face-to-face meetings, our focus is still on creating a rapport and providing a safe emotional space. The psychotherapist and client work together to achieve specific treatment goals and rather than treating symptoms, we focus on understanding contributing factors and developing effective coping strategies on the journey towards healing and recovery.
We work with clients in the Mayfair area, across the UK and internationally in a range of different areas, including couples therapy, addictions, eating disorders, loss and bereavement, issues around sexuality, depression, trauma, and anxiety disorders. In our holistic treatment approach we can work with family members, spouses or partners to address specific types of concerns - particularly around addiction, eating disorders and trauma. We also offer counsellor and psychotherapist services for organisations, and online supervision for therapists.
Accreditation
Our psychotherapists and counsellors are voluntarily accredited through the preeminent governing bodies in the United Kingdom, including the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC) and the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). Through this accreditation, as well as through our own professional standards and ethical guidelines, we provide a compassionate, holistic and integrated approach to treatment. Our focus is on the privacy and confidentiality of our clients, as well as in creating customised treatment plans specific to each individual.
